I clip off the SPG, computer on left wrist, and compass on a small slate attached with a small retractor. I extended the lubber line on the slate which helps keeping a course, and the slate comes in in handy, even though I never carried one until I built this. It's small enough and stays out of the way until needed.

I prefer a computer on the wrist, if it's not too large, for ease of viewing. I refer to it fairly regularly throughout the dive, and even with the console clipped to my chest, the wrist is better for that. I've often wished the compass could be held farther out than the console permits, but have never bothered to find a solution to that.
