Today was a perfect day to dive on the west coast! Calm seas, 90 degree air temp, and 82 degree water temp. I went out with Narcosis of Tarpon Springs. Left the dock at 6:30 arrived back from a two tank at 11:00. First stop, Vetrans Reef. Vis was 20-30 feet, and there was a thermocline just at the top of the barges. Water temp dropped 8 degrees! Didn't see anything great, just the usual suspects. Second dive was Masthedge Ledge, just a short ride from the Reef. Vis dropped to 10-15 feet, and again, no unusual sightings. The Narcosis boat was nice. They only take out 6 divers, so it wasn't cramped. Crew was pleasant and helpful. I would recommend them for a reasonable priced dive. :D
