I did two tanks via red kayak in 23 feet of water, had about 3 foot visibility. Hood kept me warmer but should have added a couple pounds of lead, even 73 degree water gets chilly when down that long. Waiting for the whale snot to clear up, also see the seas are forecast to be two feet or less thru Sunday. Good luck!

4/27/14 Dive with DKramer. South Brohard beach with kayak. 9:30 am winds SE 5 mph, picked up a little while out there.
Tide was incoming. Water temp 73. vis 3-6 ft depending on where you were and fog on my lenses. Depth-13 to 15 ft. in the blocks off main walkway. Saw 2 sting rays, snook, flounder, juvenile grouper, and a large loggerhead that was believed to be dead. Found the ghost net again, very fine filament and easy to get wrapped up in. It is still out there, a little south of the walkway. Found a small broken mako. Was great to get out for the first dive of the year!

^we went out on 4/47 as well.

Shore dive, Alhambra
9:30am, about ~100 yards out, 20 ft depth
10-15ft Viz, was GREAT!
Saw many sheeps head that are always hilarious, and flounder.
Found many reg size teeth, golf balls, an un-Id'ed bone, and an old bottle lol.
NO MEGS today :( Hopefully I'll find my first one soon!
