Dive reports with beach/weather conditions

Some of us east coasters are planning on a dive (weekend?) mid July. Would love info on places to stay. Mostly beach diving at Alhambra.

Two foot visibility during high tide today, two foot seas at start and four foot ending! About the same as last week, skipped 2nd tank. We need several days of calm east winds.

I'll be coming down May 25 - 30, planning on doing several beach dives and probably a few boat dives with Aristakat, if anyone is interested in some company.

Dive this morning at Alhambra.
4-6 ft viz and 78F.
Lots of small finds.
Lots of sea weed piling up in places.

We always stay with the Venice Beach Villas, very nice people, they have a couple of properties, one on Venice Street.

We always stay in the property on Menendez Street, which is two minutes from the Alhambra site
