Great dive, lotta small fish but nothing worth shooting. We did see a HUGE school of jacks (about 10lbs range) and a small shark ( too quick to ID).

Did 2 Kayak dives yesterday. Didn't even get int water till about noon. Was a little windy for first dive, but viz was pretty good 10-15 feet. I could still see parts of the bottom from 17 off the bottom.

2nd dive hit the water around 4. It was overcast and light wasn't permitting decent viz. Had a few silty spots that was close to 3 foot viz but most of the dive was closer to 7-10.

Found 2 3.5", one broken 3.75, a 2.5" and a couple ~1".

Had fun with a sea horse that wrapped itself around my finger. Ran into a large coral formation that went in places 10 feet off the bottom. Swam around it for a while expecting to see a shark under the ledges but never saw any. Did see several large snook and plenty of bait fish. Fun yet exhausting day.

Water temp 89F

Viz ~ 6ft w/ lots of particulate
very unremarkable dive. Very few fish on the blocks today.

Did two kayak dives yeterday. One from down off Manasota Key Beach. We went out at least 1.25 miles. Stopped multiple times on the way out and free dove to check bottom at 4 or 5 spots on the way back. Mosty nothing on the bottom or some rolling bottom with lots of shells. Barely any bones or breakthrough that you would expect to find something on. Spot that looked best for finding teeth was the spot closest to shore. You can tell where it was because the gps track changes direction while I free dive then goes back to heading toward beach. Only thing we found was a 50 cal shell. Viz was awesome. Ran through several patches of large jellyfish. We easily had 10-12 feet horizontal and probably 15 vertical over there.

After that we packed Kayaks up and went to Alhambra. Paddled out probably a mile. Strong winds at that point so it took a while to get to where we wanted to be. Found batter died half way through so the track got messed up. We were getting blown down to sharky's pier. Buddy got out down there and dragged kayak back along beach. Got dragged underwater by wind action up top. We didn't get in the water til about 3:15. Viz was probably about 7 feet. Lots a little snot. Bottom looked really promising but didn't find a lot of good teeth. Found a 2.5" broken tip of tooth with nice serration, a 1.75" in pretty decent shape, and a 3" dinged up tooth. Best thing about the dive was that my buddy found his first Meg after 3 trips. A nice clean 2". Long exhausting day. Was hoping for a lot more. First dive was relaxing and great conditions. Was good to be out on the water.
