Shore dive at South Brohard. 2-4 ft. viz and the temp is starting to drop a bit. But, still good to go with swim suit and t-shirt. Normal small finds and lots of nice shells. The South Brohard parking lot is closed - looks like they are getting ready to do some work on it. Park at the sandy parking area immediately south of the entrance. The shower/restrooms were open.

How far out is the gravel place u guys talk about? We just went today to service club for the first time and just trying to get an idea how it is there. We usually dive Alhambra. At service club we went out to the blocks.. Enjoyed all the beautiful fish, and was hoping to see a nurse shark but didn't lol.. We headed south a little past that and once we got through it we landed on a shell bed which was nice. We were in about 25ft of water. Didn't see a whole lot though. We tried north too but viz seemed to get worse so we headed south.. Went in close to volleyball court.. (As a reference for those who know the area) any advice would be greatly appreciated :) we want a big Meg!!:)

Very noticeable thermocline: 82 Degree at the bottom, got a little chilled after three hours in a 3 mill full suit.
No real wind to speak of Flags on buildings were motionless
Visibility was 0 to 3'. Very silty from this years beach re-nourishment
Max Depth 25'
Reddish Tint in the water when the sun was behind the clouds. SNN reported a algae bloom that was killing fish at Nokomis beach and the Jetty. Didn't see any dead fish. Had the usually tag-a-longs (sheep head, squirrel fish, pin fish) Mote said everything was clear yesterday.
Fragladons and a cup and half of small teeth.
Much of the floor was covered with a few inches of silt, cleaner spots were in the bigger reef areas.
