Diver Injured - North Crescent Bay - Laguna Beach

While prepping for our dive this morning a gentleman was pulled from the water in N. Crescent Bay. He was apparently a part of a large group of students we had observed when we were checking conditions. A police officer informed that he had apparently ascended too quickly. The article below confirms the same and that he was airlifted to the Long Beach chamber. He was conscious when they loaded him into the ambulance. Hopefully everything turns out alright. A sobering way to start a dive.
