I'll be diving with Aldora 12/26-12/30. Staying at a condo south of town (thanks to a good tip from this forum). If anybody else is flying solo and wants to buddy up, let me know! I'm still a relative newb, but I do my best to focus on safety and fun.

Last minute decision this year ....

Only two of our usual group this year. Arrive 11/30 - depart 12/09 Staying at Amaranto and diving w/Aldora.

Question for the group.
This will be our first time flying in and staying on Coz. In the past, we've flown to Cancun and stayed there.
I understand that there are no taxis at the airport. We're staying way south, at the Sabor, which means the shuttle bus, with all its stops, is likely to be slow. Is it possible to get a taxi at the airport?

You cannot get taxis at the airport unless you walk off the property and catch one out on the street. The taxis aren't even supposed to pick you up there but many will.

The shuttle bus is actually a shuttle van. All passengers in the van will be going to the same area as you. They only hold about 10-11 people so you're looking at maybe 3-4 stops at most. You'll get there pretty quick so I wouldn't worry about it.
