Hi all - Just to see if anyone has had any experience with these custom built cases from Italy? I'm sorely tempted to upgrade to a Canon D500/500 with one of these.

Hmm,
i never heard from them even if i am in Italy and know the italian market quite well...
You may go to the 2011 EUDI Show where they should expose the housings to see and "try" them.

They appear to be coming up around the €750-800 mark without ports. I believe at this time its Europe only but I imagine they would ship. Each case is built to order and they support quite a range of cameras. Just found an outlet in Asia. I'm told there is a dealer in Netherlands which I may be able to get too next week for a "touchy feely" session. I'll post back if I do.

I am very happy with my DRP100 for Canon T2i.
I'ts a cheap but serious housing, and features a smooth 'motozoom' for zoom gears, so you can achieve zoom without further holes in the port/housing.
I use it with standard plan port and Canon 60mm USM macro lens, or with 18/55is with spherical port and motozoom.
