This was posted on Cozumel4U on FB about 30 min ago. Someone said they no longer hear the helicopters so maybe more news coming soon.

Just saw this: #Vozurbana looking for lost divers on the sea!!

#Cozumel two divers of 52 and 25 years old were lost because of the tide that prevails in the north area, about three nautical miles of "Punta molas". the captain of the boat was attentive to the Workers, however, due to intense waves lost them from sight and could no longer locate them.

At this time the secretariat of Marina-Armada of Mexico, through the naval search, rescue and Maritime Surveillance Station (Ensar) deployed an operation to locate the workers of the sea who were lost in the north area of Cozumel.

At this time, family members meet with the headlines of the port of port and the naval sector, in order to obtain information that allows the location of the workers of the sea.

An hour ago, the commander of the fifth naval region of the secretariat of Marina (Semar), José Luis Vergara Ibarra, appointed a helicopter for the search and rescue of the workers of the sea.

It transcended that the divers were performing their work and were lost by the boat, because there was a strong waves that made visibility difficult.

I dove Eagle Ray alley and San Juan this morning and conditions were ideal.

Divers have been found

#Cozumel Coordinated work, led by the Secretariat of the Navy (Semar), yields results when the two divers who were lost at sea are located with lives and in good health.

At 7:00 am this Saturday, he went sailing the boat that was carrying the divers, who entered the seabed, in the middle of a strong swell, which caused the captain to lose sight of them.

Before his loss, the captain communicated with the Semar, proceeding an operative to locate them, using the Semar a helicopter for the immediate location of two men of 25 and 52 years of age.

In this way, at 2:20 p.m., both persons were located, in good health, in this case by the crew of the "María Selene" nautical tourism boat.

Glad they were found in good condition. I wonder if they were sport divers or fisherman.
