Just when you thought it was safe.........The thread comes back to life.

Great song NetDoc.

and you are sick of it my friends...
We started out a year ago, writing songs for fun!
but now its got so big and large, and it's never done...

Cause it's the thread that never ends... (you get the picture)

BTW, coming soon... "In the Grotto..."

It took me close to an hour to read all of this post. I sat in my room laughing so hard my roommate came in to make sure I was ok. You guys are the greatest.

Oh my....

Here we go again...
Does it mean I need to come up with a new one or can I lie on the laurels of my "Skin Diver's song"???

Though I've been thinking and I'd rather call it "Another jump from the boat".

(Anyone that haven't seen it, it is on the lowest of the first page of this thread and I consider it the peak of my lyrical carrer!!!).

Oh my...

That's gona be a hard mission. I had about five or six, so how much do I have to catch up?

Besides, I'm not in a very poetic envirment-The songs I wrote I wrote from my previouse home, now I live in god forsaken beer-sheva and can write onl;y from the univercity. It kills all my inspiration.

Since I haven't contributed anything to this thread, other than a couple of smart remarks, and since it is my scuba birthday (I finished my OW a year ago today), I offer you this... with apologies to Elton John and Bernie Taupin.

I'm Still Diving

You could never know what it’s like
My reg has vanished and my mask
Has fogged and there’s cold
And lonely water all around the boat
I’ll wind up like
The wreck that hides
Beneath the deep blue sea

But did you think
This fool could never swim
Well look at me
I’m striding off the edge
I’ve got a taste for salt
And if you need to know
Why I’m still diving
You just sing my song

Don’t you know, I’m still diving
Better than I ever did
Looking like a neoprene wonder
Feeling like a little fish
I’m still diving
After all this time
Pickin’ up my regulator, strapping on my fins

I’m still diving, yeah, yeah, yeah
I’m still diving, yeah, yeah, yeah

Once I could never hope to swim
On the surface, let alone
Down among the fish
The things I feared
Didn’t quite come true
And if I wasn’t busy working*
I’d be wet right now

Chorus, etc

*Ahem. I'm about to do some work. Really...

And happy scuba birthday to you... now get back to work!
