I'm going to Kailua, Oahu in Oct. for 4 days to visit with friends and then "of course" Maui for another 8 days. (still not enough!)
My friend that I'm visiting is not certified yet but, wants to be. She just hasn't had the time to do it. She just moved there so she's trying to get settled.
I'm of course going to go out on some dives for a day on Oahu but, wondering what she's going to do. I'm not sure if she'll be certified before I get there.
Can anyone make any suggestions on any dive companies that could take both divers and non divers/snorkelers on Oahu? Aren't there dives where non card holders can go on a couple of shallow dives with instructors? I'm assuming an introductory dive?

Hi Lori: My name is Joyce and I live on Oahu. I recommend either Surf-n-sea or Island Divers Hawaii. SurfnSea's number is: 808-637-3337. Island Diver's is 808-947-6583. Joyce

Thanks Joyce....I'll check them out!

BTW, my friend signed up for her course and starts on Monday. Yippeee! She's probably reading the book as I write this, lol.

Thanks for the info!

Aloha Lori,

My name is Captain Mike and I'd be happy to offer you our services at Diamond Head Divers. We own and operate the dive boat "Enzo" located in Kewalo Basin Harbor (near Waikiki). We have a professional scuba instructor available every day and can easily accomodate all of your needs. We can do certification courses in as little as 3 days, Discover Scuba Diving (introductory dive for non-certified divers) or have snorkelers come along on our scuba diving tours.

If your interested, you can contact me at (808) 224-2770 or e-mail diamondheaddiver@yahoo.com

Mahalo,

Mike Bishop
