Diving Friends with Travel/Scuba Benefits. Anyone interested in mutually reducing costs of diving

Hello,

Some of us have ways that can help others reduce the costs of scuba diving. What if we were to create a loose knit group of diving buddies to enjoy and share those benefits. Some of those benefits may be:

• Employee rate for hotels or airlines
• Free nights for hotels/rental cars due accumulated loyalty/reward points
• Transferable airlines miles or Gold status
• Scuba diving lessons from someone who is a dive instructor(it is understood that the student would have to pay the minimum fees to the licensing authority)
• Someone who wants to contribute used or discounted equipment.

If there are those who are interested, please respond here and post any suggestions on how to proceed on forming such a group. Some concerns could be:

• Employees can't openly disclose their discounts
• Safety issues/reputation verification
• What would be the other concerns that one could have?
