Has anyone been in the water in Destin recently? I usually dive the area a couple of times a year. I'm heading down on Fri and taking my wife and daughter to dive with Scubatech. Typically have 70+ foot of vis, but last Sept my wife and I were there and the vis was down to around 5 - 10. It was really bad.
Hopefully the vis will be much better since this will be the first trip to Destin for my daughter.

Dave,

I dive out of Destin every weekend the weather permits. The vis changes greatly day to day and site to site. On my last trip, dives 1 through 3 were in the 30+ range. The last dive (5 miles nearer the Pass) was 10 ft.

One never knows.

The good news is (unless there is a reoccurence) the "June Grass" came in May.
