I'm trying to organize a group trip to Tacoma, WA, for the treasure hunt on may 13th, does anybody have any suggestions for relativly cheap places to stay near Point Defiance Park? Also, what are some sites worth diving around there?
 
Don't know of any hotels right by the park but there are several "chain" hotels in Tacoma which would be about 15-20mins to the park. Make plans to get there early, very early.

If you try travelocity and put zipcode 98403 in the search for hotels you should come up with the ones near Point Defiance.
