Windstar cruise through the Panama Canal or in the Greek Islands?
My wife and I are booked on the Windstar over Thanksgiving through the Canal. While the ship stops at San Blas, Panama my understanding is that the San Blas indians do not allow scuba but do allow snorkeling. So we might go a few days early and dive out of Portobelo. I would like to see if the lionfish have migrated down that far south.
The other stop where diving might be possible is at Coiba Island. I have been in contact with Scuba Coiba who would make a pick up on the island on the date the ship has a shore excursion scheduled there. Herbie Sunk is the operator and has received good reviews here on SB.
The real sad part about this trip is that I will miss Thanksgiving dinner with my in-laws. Darn
