DMC-ts2 white balance question

Im new to this please bare with me.
SHould i have the manual white balance all the way over to the red when taking pictures?

Have you tried using the snorkel/underwater settings first? They do a good job.

Manual white balance needs to be set at depth, using a white slate or similar, for good results

Yeah I have see. That setting the only thing I don't like about that is you can't adjust the shutter speed.
