Does anyone know how bad Palau got hit with this last storm?????

Fri 14 Dec 0630hrs here right now in Guam: I literally ran into Tova Bornovski, co-owner of Fish n' Fins Dive-Ops in Palau, as she was hurrying to catch a flight. She says Koror survived with relatively minor damage with no casualties --a majorf miracle as the eye wall of Typhoon Bopha veered away at the last hour before landfall. Eastern rural shore villages of Babeldaop were inundated however. . .

Dive-ops are up & running, along with most power & utility services on Koror. Post-typhoon status of popular divesites such as Blue Corner not known or still being evaluated, but should be all okay

Thanks for the information. If you hear anything else please post.
