Intriguing thought, Tobin . . . My husband has HP 100s.

The shop doesn't like to fill doubles that fast, and doesn't feel happy about getting the right mix if they do.

Shall I bring my transfill whip Sunday? You supply the gas and can see how it all works for you.

I can give you a parts list/suppliers for what I have. I use quick disconnects so the the DIN fittings can do double duty with my fill station. DIN / yoke fittings are the most expensive part. Decent O2 compliant hose and a gauge (optional) cost ~$45. Yoke fitting $40, DIN fitting $60

A simple transfill whip parts list since someone else asked for this offline...

I use these online sources. Maybe not the cheapest (depends on part), but reliable. No backorders by and large, had good experiences with both.

Braided SS Hose 1/4" NPT brass ends, teflon core, rated 3000 psi (burst is like 12,000 so don't worry about 3500 psi) = part# 4468K302
36" is about right.

Optional 1/4" Brass T (if using gauge)
9171K27

Optional glycerine filled (more durable) SS case
gauge, 0-5000 psi
4053K15

Optional Quick disconnect fittings, can go between the gauge and the T, and between the hose and the DIN fittings as you like. I use them, much more versatile.

For attaching to an industrial He tank you need a CGA connector. Oxyhacker's guide has the numbers and other info. Available from Mcmaster Carr as well.
I wash everything in simple green inside and out and blow dry with scuba air.

Last thing is teflon tape from Home Depot. One or two wraps on the threads (don't let it hand over the tip so pieces of it can't get into the gas stream).

Tighten the connections pretty danged tight and check for leaks with dilute simple green.

Remember to just crack the valve a touch and try to fill slow. DO NOT use for O2 transfer (too fast).

Personally, building stuff is fun.

While a scuba to scuba transfill whip isn't complicated, it is a good stepping stone to bigger projects (like an O2/He whip) with more parts and needing a better understanding of flow rates in particular.

A bit less expensive too.
