If the 300-500 and 700 are compatible with one another, you can pick up a demo model for less than half price from ScubaToys... shoot an email to Joe and see if he has em.
 
Yeah, I'm just looking for the cord only, and I didn't think about seeing if scuba toys had something I'll give them a call.
 
I bought one so I am closing the thread.
