Sorry for the delay in replying. I do not check my email every day. With regards to the USB driver (CP210x VCP for MacOS), if you look on the page:
USB to UART | USB to RS232 ? Silicon Labs
on the right side of the page there is a "Software Downloads" drop list under "Design Tools" that lists as an option "CP210x VCP for OSX". If you select the Mac version, it will start to download a .zip file. Download that to your Mac, unzip the file(s) and then install per directions.
