Dream Dives

If you could do any dives in the world what would they be ? I know that for a lot of people the Andrea Doria is what they aspire to. To me that seems like a heap of rust in some cold dark water! No, what I would really like to do is dive a rebreather at 300' on the walls of Cayman. Cruising the abyss for an hour or so with an (almost) endless gas supply,preferably solo,sounds like heaven to me !!!!

So ,what/where do you dive in your dreams?

- Somewhere cold to see Beluga Whale
- Great White cage diving

That should keep me busy for a while...

Hmm...where I dive in my dreams???? Preferably in water....

I kid you not, it would be a dream to me to have diveable water nearby -- I'd settle fora murky quarry, if it meant I would be able to get wet in ~1h driving from my home.

Otherwise, I have heard of some neat wrecks up north of Scotland. Perhaps not the Doria, but they're said to be neat in their own right.....

Otherwise, I'll dive pretty much anything liquid, as long as it isn't pure sewer (hi Pipedope...)

...but I think I'd start in Cuba and then move on to discovering an uncharted, untouched galleon in warm water with endless vis... :colgate:

iv never actually been open water diving (only in the pool) but the pictures iv seen of the the indian ocean are amazing. just wondering what is in the empress of ireland scuba-punk?

My dream dives would be... (again, in no particular order)

- The Great Blue Hole
- Shark diving in South Africa with raggies and bulls. Shark Alley, yeah!!!
- Cage diving with Great Whites (also in SA)
- any wreck that hasn't been dived before
- Aliwal Shoal
- Garden Route
- Protea Banks

... heck anyplace in SA. I'm kinda obsessed with going there right now.

3. Anywhere were the Blue-Ringed Octopus hangs out
4. Scapa Flow

1:Scapa Flow would rule, it’d be the only thing that’d get me into a dry suit!
