I'm coming to this thread a little late.

I used to use a Weezle Extreme+ and I hated it, I had a couple of suit floods and it really didn't work in a complete flood. (40mins deco on a dive in 17degC, approx 66F? and I was shivering at the end). I then moved to a DUI 400gr, and it was lovely and warm. However it lasted just over 1 year and was knackered (maybe 200 dives?) as well as being cut as if I was twice as big in the legs as in the torso. Then I moved to a Santi BZ400, this suit has now done 200 dives and is still going strong, it works fine when flooded (even in cold, i.e 4degC water). The santi is made to a much higher standard than the DUI, and is actually tailored to a human size. I am unlikely to return to DUI for an undergarment until they step up and actually come up with a suit that fits. Other things that are nice about the santi are a larger foot strap (so it doesn't dig into the foot so much), p-valve slot (if you want it) and mesh covers on the wrists, so you don't end up with a lot of bulky thinsulate trying to unseal your wrists.

I would be interested to see if anyone does any decent research on the Xerotherm artics in comparrison to 400gr thinsulate, as I've been using a couple of pairs of their booties for the last year or so, and they are very nice and warm, even when wet.

I had an opportunity to look at one of the Santis firsthand this weekend (and briefly back in October), and they're really nice suits. The problem is that, by the time you factor the weak dollar and shipping, they're over $600 to land in Seattle. Ouch!

FWIW i use the Weezle booties. They used to be very warm. Lately however even wearing 3 pairs of snowboard socks underneath im still getting cold.
Same for my Extreme - was warm in it but now even with a northern face base layer, fleece top AND weezle im getting cold. Today did 2 dives, surface temp 51F, bottom temp 41F wearing the above. Was frozen.
The weezle is about 5 years old. So im not entirely sure its got an unlimited shelf life either, again either im ageing dramatically or the suit isn't as warm as it used to be.

(i dive fairly squeezed which probably doesnt help it).
Im actually considering buying some arctics to wear underneath it.
