I'd be interested to know what people think about the idea. I liked that it keeps the integrity of the single strap harness, and could see how having that extra available might be very helpful with removing gear in the water.
I'd appreciate some experienced users ideas on this, as I'm going to be building my backplate and harness in the next couple of months.
