What was the water temp? I know that Saspotato said it was 24-25C in October. I was thinking it would warm up a bit in January since it's summer there.

I'll send a PM about Brisbane.

An employee of the now defunct Kai Viti Divers (PADI instructor Papu Pangalau) has recently opened Papoo Divers on Nananu-I-Ra, the very quiet little island across from the Wananavu. I'm hearing good things about it. They don't have a website yet, but you can contact them at papoodivers@mobileemail.vodafone.com.fj.

We did Beqa and Wananavu in 2009. Beqa is nice for its cultural program but the diving was much better at Wananavu. Visibility can be bad at Beqa. We dove the Bligh waters at Wananavu. It was a long boat ride out but the diving was amazing.
