Hi there,

I have a question regarding fins and diving.

Is there a big difference in using free diving fins like Cressi Gara 2000 HF. Fins Free diving, Scubastore.com, buy, offers, dive
as opposed to fins like Aqualung Slingshot. Fins Open heel, Scubastore.com, buy, offers, dive ?

Is there a difference that is large enough to warrant me buying the open heeled fins rather than the free diving ones?

If you want to dive anywhere locally you will want to wear some sort of protective gear which rules out the free diving fins.
