First computer M2 - any pre-dive advice

About to take my new dive computer on holiday next week. I have set up the date and time, but do I need to do anything else in advance of a dive. It hasn't been wet yet.
Apologies if this is a daft question, but it is my first computer. Hoping someone with experience can advise. Thanks

Good question. I suggest you set up a couple of other parameters prior to diving. Instructions on how to set it up are in the manual. You have a choice of Metric or Imperial, Salt or Fresh, and Nitrox, Air, or Gauge mode. Once these settings have been chosen, you can simply begin your dive.

Nice hints here. Just bought the Nemo air. And have set up the things youre suggesting. So now im looking fwd for the first dive ;o))
