I'm new to diving (OW with 13 dives) and i was just curious to see what other's first equipment setup was.

Here's mine so far:

Some off brand gloves.
A used UK 400 Dive Lite
A Harveys 7MM hood.
Cressi Frog Fins

Now:

Aeris Atmos Pro Computer
USIA Aqua Pro Dry suit
Harvey's Titanium Gloves
Sea Soft Dry Suit Hood.
Several Dive Lites mainly Princeton Tec with several backups in the truck.

Well, with 14 dives under my belt here's what I've acquired:

Primary Reg: Apeks atx50 on 5' hose
Secondary Reg: Apeks atx40 on bungee necklace
BC: Halcyon 27lb. wing with SS backplate
SPG: OMS 2" on left D-ring
Fins: Tusa Imprex
Mask: Found one in quarry that fits my face better than my Cressi Horizon
Snorkel: Haven't used one in the last 7 dives
Suit: Some cheap 5mil jumpsuit from my lds
Computer: wrist mounted Cressi Archimede

As I my save up more dive funds I'm looking at getting a hood, gloves and some Jetfins. Also I might switch out the 5' hose for a 7 footer.

First set up:


Al 80 with J valve, and a length of coathanger wire
Hanimex oval mask, with recess's for holding nose
Snorkle with "new corrugated flex hose"
Tabata First and second, no octo
Plastic backplate, with webbing, no BC
Voit fins, full foot
That was it for about 3 years.


Now:
