First world dilemma : Lembeh or Anilao or Mabul for macro ?

both are lovely diving destinations. I visit Anilao twice and lembeh 6x. If you love macro/muck diving then Lembeh is the direction.
Could be bias, I personally love Lembeh. Lembeh guide is generally better than Anilao to find the critters.
My best and most productive night diving was in Lembeh with Opo as my private guide. He always found another critters before I finish shooting pics.

I have consciously avoided to compare on the guiding criteria because I think Dennis Corpuz in Anilao is probably the best guide I have ever dived with.
More knowledgeable in biology and photography than any of Lembeh's guides, while I reckon there are fabulous guides in Lembeh (Oppo and Mikael at Lembeh resort), there are also less than skilled ones.
