Im actually thinking about making a pair of goggles with lenses in them to carry as a back-up. Sure smaller than any small mask. Something wrong with your mas, just put these on, might be a good thing not to have to equalize or purge in case of an emergency.

Over at deeperblue freedivers people have been making them with lenses from Anchor optical, $20 a pair....
