Hello everyone. I'm new to ScubaBoard, but not new to diving. I've been diving for around three years now, mostly on vacations. I got into this hobby from the marine aquarium hobby. I am mostly interested in seeing and photographing corals while diving.

I have a question. I have heard of scams on this forum and even scammers hacking into accounts. How I've heard makes it sound like it's not uncommon here. Is that true? How common are scams on this site?

Not common.

I've been here for 15 years? more? Never been scammed....

Happens but not often, FB has far more of them.

Hello! Where are your favorite corals that you have photographed?
I honestly haven't dove where my favorite corals are yet, but the ones I like to photograph the most are generally the ones that are more uncommon within their localities. Examples include Pavona in Hawaii or Mycetophyllia and Isophyllia in the West-Atlantic.

Welcome.
