Two divers arriving Ft Lauderdale at 10 am Thursday 9/6 IF flight is on time. Do not want to credit card commit prior to landing in case of delays. I called many operations in the area and none have an afternoon dive scheduled at the moment. They all said to call on our arrival to see if that has changed.

Does anyone know of someone that will take only two of us out with only a few hours of notice (when called upon our arrival)? Having been in the area at this time before we understand it is the slow season.

If you can't find a boat dive, you could try doing a shore dive. Lauderdale by the Sea is a great shore dive and you can rent gear nearby at Gold Coast Scuba.

Good suggestion - talk to Steve at Gold Coast Scuba on Commercial Blvd, a few blocks from the beach. He can provide tips on the beach dive off Datura Ave., which is really easy and a short swim (bring quarters for parking by the beach).

x2 goldcoast steve or brian will set you up

I would be surprised if you couldn't find yourself a boat trip an hour before the departure, or even less... as long as you can make it to the boat in enough time.
