Atlantis trials will be a part of an upcoming documentary titled “Fatal Pressure”
When: This Wednesday, March 16 at 9 p.m.
Where: The History Channel
UHMS Executive Director, Dr. Peter Bennett’s ground-breaking work during the Atlantis trials will be cited in an upcoming documentary. The Lone Wolf Documentary Group of Portland, Maine, has produced a film on what they have billed as “the underwater universe.” Entitled “Fatal Pressure,” the documentary will explore a wide range of aspects about underwater exploration, including the record-setting Atlantis dives that took divers to 2,250 feet for the first time. The studies were conducted by a team led by Dr. Bennett at Duke University Medical Center in 1981. According to Associate Producer Lacy Clark, “Fatal Pressure” will air on the History Channel on March 16 at 9 p.m.
