Hi there,

I'm new to Nitrox and looking around for a gas blending app.

So here I am, looking at the program I found to be interresting (Gas blender toolkit), making simulations but I must be missing something obvious since I can't make it work.

Here it is.

- I assume that the "Scuab tank" my actual diving tank is where my last dive left, i.e., 150 bars of air
- the Topoff gas tank, in my mind, the 100% O2
- the "Desired gas mix" seems obvious....

But this is not working.

What am I missing?

I don’t know that app specifically, but it’s likely that the “topoff gas” is what you use after adding pure O2, which it assumes you always have available. In your case that should probably be air but it could also be something like an existing tank of EAN32. You cannot get to 200 bar EAN32 from where you are by adding just pure O2 and then topping off with more O2.

Thanks jborg.

So, I should "think" or "see it" this way? Right?

Because now it becomes finally possible....

100% O2...it assumes you always have available.

This is what I was missing.

Thanks for pointing me to this mistake.

Have a nice day ;-)
