I've read an article few month ago in a magazine about a new ship wreck that supose to be sink in the seven miles beach area at the end of june 2009. I think it's an old us navy boat that should be in 65' feet of water near the beach so you can dive it from the beach.

anyone knows anything about that.

thanks

USS Kittiwake ?

Definitely the Kittiwake.

I don't know an exact timeline... these things have a way of being delayed.

Kittiwake it is but I'm not sure that it will be swimmable from shore.
I believe it will be approx half a mile out.

that's right, the kittywake is the one. I hope it will be on time for june so I'll be diving it in july. :)
