GDB needs a consistent and ambitious partner.
Are you it?
Fear not - being partner does not entail an economic engagement of any kind, but instead that you have a passion for scuba diving and for protecting our oceans' environment. Your workplace will not be a desk - you and your laptop can be anywhere in the world that you want.
So are you considering taking on a job that will keep you going out of pure interest and love for diving? A job with a reasonable pay that gives you great influence on both your workplace and your world? A job that you can help create and recreate?
Then please read on...
Global Dive Book is an interactive community for scuba divers where you can find: Forum, scuba/dive news, events, dive guide and jobs, personal diving profile, business profile, gear, dive blogs, articles, photo gallery and more.
Global Dive Book's goal is to become one of the biggest global community sites for diving, so that we can give the greatest possible support to projects that are proactive in helping the underwater environment. Projects such as: reef rebuilding, stop shark finning, stop overfishing, etc.
Why?
Because it's overdue to make an effort to protect the oceans, and if we really love diving, then we have to make a difference now, or we will be just another user.
Job function:
Delevoping GDB's visual aspects.
Visiting and portraying worldwide diving resorts and exotic dive spots.
Updating GDB's website.
Webmaster, selling advertising, etc
Requisites:
Fluent English, preferably as mother's tongue.
Fluent communication, orally and written, preferably with some business-minded experience.
Many years diving experience.
Experience with pc/mac, and the internet, preferably quite extensive.
Experience with project management - not a must, but an advantage.
Pay: You will be compensated as per agreement, between 10-20% of GDB's income after charity (50% of GDB's total revenue goes to philanthropical projects) , so it is very much up to you, there are very good prospects to making a decent living, but you have to make an effort - the better you are, the more you make.
If this has roused you interest, then please send us a short application along with a CV.
