I have heard of things going missing there too, but it was with items left behind and not there when someone went back to retrieve them!
Come to think about it, there were lots of police running up and down the roads in their cruisers trying to keep the college kids under control and safe from themselves! (It was some school break when I was last there)

Oh Ginnie definitely gets out of control. During the summer it always gets pretty wild. I've spent A LOT of time there. There's usually always a few State Troopers patrolling the place at night. This time of year is pretty quiet though - not taking into account the UF/FSU game this past weekend. Not to mention the front gate is what I imagine Checkpoint Charlie was like during the Cold War.
