Here I am in Little Cayman enjoying a very good DAN diving medicine course with great diving, BUT...
Lionfish on every dive...
We were cruising along Bloody Bay wall 2 days ago with a friendly grouper following us. The DMs started feeding them dead lionfish a while ago, I don't know how long exactly, so I guessed he just wanted a free snack...
And then, I witnessed something I had never seen before: our dive guide points a finger at a lionfish on the wall, a moving and living one and BANG! The grouper swallows it whole and goes away chewing its meal!
WONDERFUL!!!
GO groupers!
Next time I'll have my camera ready!
