"Go to first new post" never works anymore?

When I click that arrow, it should go to the first post in a thread since I refreshed, right? It doesn't. It always goes to the first post of the day in that thread, even tho I have ready that post and maybe 10 more after it earlier today...??

I'm using Firefox, Windows XP Home, DSL connection if any of that matters?

I've noticed the same thing- even if I go back to threads that I posted on, the "first new post" will be before my post. I think this is part of the Dutch conspiracy to get people to actually read the thread...

I don't know what you mean by deleted posts, but I do not have this problem on another V-board? It won't even go to the correct page - really pretty useless. Easier to skip to the end and browse up to check times of posts!! :11:

Well, it seems to be on all threads.

I've noticed this lately although it's not consistent. If I shut the browser down and re-open, it'll work fine. It also seems to work if I leave the site for more than a few hours. Sounds like a session variable problem.

Yeah, I see that working. I just don't leave the site long some days. The feature is essentially worthless to me. My workaround is go to last post and scroll up to last one I recognize.
