The Reefs Of Taprobane by Arthur C. Clark. A look at the past, it was published in 1958
Just re-read the Arthur C. Clark book, and it's as great a read as when I was a kid!

The Deep Range by Arthur C Clarke
Lady with a Spear by Eugene Clark.

The former is a good SF yarn, while the latter is autobiographical by one of the pioneering ichthyologists.

I'm surprised no one mentioned "The Silent World" by Jacques Cousteau. A must read for all divers,IMHO.

I just finished a compilation called 'There's a cockroach in my regulator.' Full of true moments and interesting facts.

I got it from undercurrent online mag
