Thought I would quickly share this.

I just arrived back from our expedition in Sodwana bay. We successfully dived GoPro Hero3 cameras to 137m (450ft) without incident. The front casing cover push a bit against the camera lens, but video is still good. These cameras are truly awesome.

That is pretty incredible. Thanks for the report. I wonder if you had a chance to try the buttons on the housing at that depth?
 
No I did not fiddle with buttons, started shooting before we dropped. I did use the buttons on a shallower dive (250ft) without issue.
 
Yes video, buddy used his at same depth to take some pics and short videos. No issues
 
The video is 1.9 gig!! I will see if can convert and post at some point.
 
the last one I uploaded to youtube was 1.1 so size shouldn't be an issue unless you have other reasons. or maybe you can post some interesting stills from the videos?
