I hear rumors of excellent diving in Great Sacandaga lake near Conklingville Dam; maybe the submerged remains of a flooded town or at least some bridge trusses???
I am coming into town for 5-6 days and would love to get wet there, but need either some advice on entry locations, directions to points of interest, and depths to expect; OR better yet someone familiar with the area to meet up with me & my wife to do a couple dives (I hear shore diving somewhere near the dam is pretty normal???).
Anyways, maybe this post will get more interest than the general question I posted about good places to dive in CNY?
