Thanks to all of you.
I appologise for this late reply, but I was out of town last week on business,(New York City) and I'm just catching up on my reading now.
Well going thru airport security is getting to be routine now. I just remove all metal: shoes, watch, wallet, and hold up this little card,(my knee replacement certificate) and say politely I will set off the metal detector. They hand wand me, then cop a feel of my knee to ensure that's all there is, and away we go.
As I've certainly passed my prime (hit 49 this year) 27 years of marriage, 31 years diving and I have a 22 year old daughter who constantly reminds me that I'm way over the hill. I can only find solice in the chineese proveb that reminds us that as with change , wisdom takes time.
And all things come to he who waits, even death, so don't wait too long.
If the GD weather would co-operate we'd be diving right now!
best regards
MikeD
