I think it should be taken out anyway. Yeah, by then it surely won't be an issue, but I like better safe than sorry.

The problem with taking out the armor encased wiring was that it made it too expensive to reef her, and they would have essentially had to tear her apart to get them out. No need to worry though -- the EPA would not have cleared the sinking if the PCBs presented a problem.
