I'm a Fish!
Hey Everyone,

Ive been looking around to start spear fishing, but decided against buying a gun yet, and I have been looking at Hawaiian slings. What can you tell me about them? How do they work, and tips and tricks would be great, also, I go to ft lauderdale Florida a lot, so would I be able to use it there? Would I need a private charter or are there places I could use it that are shore accessible?

Thanks

Buy a pole spear instead of a Hawaiian sling. You dont have to go chase the shaft down after you fire it and much easier to use.

tha hawaiian sling doesnt have the shaft attached to the block or rubber. You could get a line for it but that can decrease accuracy. The pole spear is basically a shaft with a rubber on the end and all one piece that is easier to use.

No just slide back down the tip end. put a tip on that has the ring to hold the tips wings down and slide it right off
