Ashley,

There a group of us who dive with Parrot Island in Pompano Beach on New Year's Day every year as a tradition. This year we're diving the Guy Harvey wreck (145', definitely AOW or equivalent deep experience are needed) followed by a 45-60' reef dive. Feel free to join us.

Hi deepstops,
Is this being offered as a recreational dive? Have 80 or so dives to 100'+ but no training in deco procedures (yet!)...
Thanks for info

What are your diving preferences?? Reefs or wrecks, six-packs or big boats?? (I like bigger boats in the winter for the most part since it's typically a bit rougher and they usually have better wind protection)

Up here in Jax it's mostly wrecks off of a sixpack and I've done the reefs and the Eagle in the keys off of a large boat. Love it all. I'll be totin' a camera if it's not too rough and the viz is okay.

AOW or equal experience are all that are required. It's not required to be done as a technical deco dive. I think you'd be fine from what you're listing as your experience.

Thanks, Brian!
Skills-wise I'm not at all concerned about it based on my experience. Have done plenty of deep dives, wreck dives, high current, ... It's all good!
Was more interested in how the trip had been booked and how the boat/captain would react. I had one boat that refused to take us to the Jim Atria last year because it sits in 135'. So just wanted to touch base...
Are you guys planning on diving recreational profiles, or are you thinking deco?

That would depend on who I end up diving with. Apparently a bunch of my regular buds will be on a singledivers.com trip to the Bahamas so chances are more than likely it'll be a recreational level dive plan.

Sounds Like a great plan. I am looking for a rec dive plan. Nothing to invasive.
