OK. So I've been lurking on the board for a couple of weeks now. Finally decided I need to join because I signed up for my first class. New scuba diver class (NAUI) starts Sunday (the 25th) and in about 6-8 weeks I'll finish with OW. Then on to AOW and beyond most likely...
What brings me to diving you may ask? I've always loved the water, actually grew up on a lake, and my wife and I just returned from a trip to the Florida Keys. Did a lot of snorkeling there (LOVED John Pennekamp SP - and Dry Rocks!) and decided that I've got to get certified so when we return, I can go DIVING! (Not just looking down from above.)
For those that don't know, Cereal City, USA, is also known as Battle Creek, Michigan, home of Kellogg's and Post Cereal.
