Hello from from Tri-Valley area in Northern California

It's been about 8 years since I last dove. I'm looking into getting back into diving. Since I live in the tri-valley area in N. Cali. does anyone recommend a seasoned instructor? If I haven't dove in 8 years, do I need to take the course all over again or take partial courses? I was PADI OW certified. However it's been a while , I forgot most all information. Any information / recommendations would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

I would google dive shops in your area, maybe Pleasanton?
I’m up in Santa Rosa so I don’t know what dive shops you have locally.
I would think just taking a refresher course would be fine. I don’t think you need to do OW all over again. Maybe get an OW book and read it through, all of it will come back.
Then get out there and dive!
