I'd like to get a Zeagle Stiletto but I have a question about the sizing for the personal fit system. I looked at the size chart on the website and based on my actual body measurements, it looks like I need a size large for a 25" torso and a size small for a 32" waist.

As far as I can tell there are 3 possible ways to fit this...
1. buy a Large BC then install a Small cummerbund waistbelt
2. buy a Medium BC then install both a Small cummerbund waistbelt and a Large shoulder harness
3. buy a Small BC then install a Large shoulder harness

My question is, are the body sections of the BCs the same with the sizing adjustments only in the shoulder straps and cummerbund waistbelt or do the body sections vary with the size as well?

I've already emailed Huish customer service several times and all they could give me was general speculation on the sizing which didn't exactly inspire confidence in their knowledge of the product line.

My local dive shop is a dealer but doesn't stock all of the sizes for me to try.

What would my best option be? Thanks in advance.

You might buy it from Scubatpys as I believe they'll exchange parts till you get it right as long as you don't get it wet.

In my experience (I bought an XL) they run small at the waist. I'm 6'2" 240ish when I bought it.

Size tag is attached to the body section of the BC, so I am pretty sure they differ in size.

I happen to own a Stiletto size L, and I also happen to have a 32" waist. It fits fine with the 7mm wetsuit. The bad news is I bought it used on eBay (an offer I couldn't refuse), and have no way of confirming if the cummerbunds and shoulder straps are originals that came with size L BCD, or they've been customized... All I can say is it fits great, I'm happy with it, and the cummerbunds are attached to in the "smallest" waist position.

Ok, just ended up ordering all three sizes so I could try them out first and answer my own question. I'll post it here so everyone in the future can benefit. Maybe the Huish customer service specialist will stumble across this and can learn a little more about their own products.

The correct answer to my question is that the Stiletto doesn't have 3 different components (waistbelt, body, shoulders) like I had previously thought, but rather only 2 since the waistbelt and body are actually 1 piece and the shoulders are another piece.

Ended up going with a medium waistbelt / body with large shoulders.
