Hero 4 LCD viewing size?

I am buying a Hero 4 and have a question between a Hero4 Silver and Hero4 Black.

I Currently use a Hero3 with a LCD back pak.

It looks like the image area on the Silver is much smaller than the images area on the Back pack, Is that correct?

I use a pole and want the biggest image area. If it is a larger image, it may be better for me to buy a Black and a LCD back?
